BroadcastoA WhatsApp broadcast sends the same message individually to many users — each reply is private. A WhatsApp group is a shared chat where everyone sees every message. Businesses on the API send broadcasts via approved templates; groups are not supported on the WhatsApp Business API.
Use broadcasts for marketing campaigns, order updates, transactional notifications. Groups are only available in the consumer WhatsApp App and the WhatsApp Business App — not on the API.
